We offer three different varieties of dried cherries, including Rainer, Byng and sour. All are sourced from the very cherry state of California where we work with amazing suppliers who bring us consistently delicious flavours and textures time and time again. We also offer two types of sour cherries, one that is lightly dipped in a sugar mixture to make it a little more palatable. On top of their deliciosity (we made that word up), our cherries also offer a wide range of health benefits due to the fact that they contain high amounts of antioxidants like anthocyanin and cyanidin. These compounds are thought to prevent cancer and promote all around good health. In addition, cherries can prevent painful episodes of gout. A mere ½ cup of cherries per day kept the nasty gout condition at bay due to its ability to control the body’s immune response to uric acid crystals that build up in the joints. Need more reasons to eat our cherries?
